On the day of your arrival, your room will be available from around 3 pm (possibly earlier). When checking out for departure we kindly ask our guests to leave their rooms until 10 am. You are welcome to store your luggage in our conference room „Elisabeth“. Please ask at the reception desk should you require to leave your room later than 10 am on your departure day.

We are happy to provide an in-house electric vehicle for a special rental fee of 10€/day. Please ask our staff at the front desk.

The PALÉE restaurant team is happy to serve you a rich breakfast buffet from 7:30 am to 11:00 am. On weekends and public holidays we even offer you the late riser breakfast until 12:00 pm. If you wish to have your breakfast before 7:30 am, just let our staff at the front desk know the evening before.

Our front desk team will provide you with your guest cards that are needed during your stay on Borkum island. The guest card is require should you plan a visit of the „Gezeitenland“ or the „Spieleinsel“. Please also note the seasonal daily fees. These contributions are automatically booked to your room and you can easily balance them when checking out on the day of your departure.

Our hotel is offering a limited number of rooms that are suitable with dogs. We then charge a dog fee of 16 € per dog and night. Please let us know prior to your stay if you are planning to bring your dog so we can confirm a dedicated room for your stay.

Our hotel is offering free Wifi in dedicated areas. To use this service please connect to Wifi network of the Strandhotel. No password is required.

The lower beach promenade in front of our hotel is the ideal starting point for short or longer running or Nordic walking sessions. You can walk along the promenade towards the south beach on the left or towards Ostland on the right. You are welcome to borrow walking sticks from us. Please ask at our front desk.

In the afternoon you are welcome to enjoy our seaview with a delicious cappuccino or regional east-frisian black tea and a piece of cake or a fresh waffle in our bistro.

Our indoor playground is equipped with a ball pool, children´s slide, jungle gym and playhouse.

The lobby is the place of your arrival and departure in our house. But you can also just relax in the provided armchairs and sofas while enjoying a drinkk or a bite to eat.

With your room key you can enter the hotel anytime day and night through our night entrance backside of the hotel. On the left side of the wall is a round grey magnatic field. If you place your key in front of this field you will hear a buzzer sound and the door can be pulled to open. We kindly ask you to take your room key with should you plan to return later than 10 pm as our front desk is operating until 10 pm.

The Family & Sports Hotek Bloemfontain on Borkum island is our partner hotel. It offers 37 rooms and suits with an enclosed soccer field and several other various sports premises at Reedestr. 73. Stop by for a cappuccino.

Our front desk/reception is operating from 7 am to 10 pm. After 10 pm you can reach us on our emergency number 04922-92330.

In the afternoon you are welcome to enjoy the our beautiful seaview in the restaurant with a cup of coffee or a tea. Our restaurant offers warm dishes from Thursday to Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm. If you would like a half-board menu, please inform the restaurant or the hotel reception by 12:00 pm on the same day. A table reservation is recommended.

You can use our sauna area with Finnish sauna and infrared sauna, plunge pool and steam bath every day – please let us know at reception so that we can preheat the sauna for you. We kindly ask you to put the sauna towels in the container provided after use.

We have toys in the downstairs closet. You are welcome to take the toys with you to the beach.

Our „Elisabeth“ conference room is located on the ground floor. Please feel free to contact us should you plan a conference.

Our service staff will be happy to provide refreshments on site from May to October when the weather is appropiate.

If you have items to wash and/or iron, please contact our staff at the reception. We are happy to return your laundry to you within one day and at a price of 4€.
